Caring for the Earth is Caring for Life
Caring for the Earth is Caring for Life is an educational initiative developed by Navdanya International to strengthen connections between people, food systems, and the environment through community-based learning and regenerative practices.
Working across municipalities north of Rome, the project brings together schools, farmers, local institutions, families, and community members to promote awareness of local food systems, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, and active citizenship. Through educational activities and collaborative events, the initiative encourages participants to explore the relationship between environmental stewardship and community well-being.
As an artist and educator, I collaborated with Navdanya International by designing and facilitating creative workshops for local students. The workshops used artistic practice as a tool for reflection, dialogue, and environmental awareness, encouraging participants to engage with themes of sustainability through creative expression.
I also contributed to the organization of a student exhibition and a participatory workshop presented during the Youth and Territory event, helping create opportunities for young people to share their work and connect with the wider community.
